Romans 5:10 ---For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
Jesus said, “Whoever is not with Me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters." (Matthew 5:30)
Mark 9:38-40 ---“Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in Your Name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.” “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in My Name can in the next moment say anything bad about Me, for whoever is not against us is for us.
Matthew 6:24 ---No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
Micah 2:8 ---“Recently My people have arisen as an enemy—"
Nahum 1:2 ---" ...The Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries,
And He reserves wrath for His enemies."
First Corinthians 15:25-26 ---"For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death."
Romans 11:28 ---"From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers ..."
Matthew Chapter 5 ---"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you ..."
(My note: God would that none would perish, yet there are constant words and accusations and deceitful evidences thrown carelessly about to turn people away from God ...so, all those are attempting to turn us away from God, and trying to rob of us of the understanding of His love.)
Acts 13:10 ---“You who are full of all deceit and fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to make crooked the straight ways of the Lord?"
Matthew Chapter 13 ---" ...but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away ...and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels."
(Yes, how do we reconcile our understanding of all these verses ...and more?? Our live are so complex to us, and we strive to educate ourselves (or allow others to educate us) to keep pace. But, life can simply be looked at as a summation of two main goals. And they are: #1) to come to the knowledge of God and acceptance of Him; and #2) to share that good news (the gospel) with others. In accepting Him, we are a friend of God ...and by telling others, we become a friend to them.)
I'd like to conclude my writing today by Romans 8:38-39 ---"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
